In May of 2011 Dr Doug Pritchard, a long time Mayo Clinic physician, lost his valiant battle with Parkinson’s disease. The Dr Doug Pritchard Memorial Golf Tournament is making plans for the 1st annual fundraiser to benefit Parkinson’s Research to be held July 21st, 2012 at Willow Creek Golf Course. The D'Sievers trio consists of John Sievers (Trombone), Eric Straubmuller (piano), and Steve Sawyer (bass). The trio's repertoire features a mix of instrumental jazz including blues, swing, latin, bebop, and original compositions. The Minneapolis-based Theater of Public Policy will present its unique form of improvisation comedy in Rochester for the first time at 8 PM on Saturday, July 21 live from the Lobby Stage of the Rochester Civic Theatre.
