Do you have general questions about computers, using email, using the library website or the Internet? Come to the library the 3rd Monday of every month to practice on our computers and ask a librarian your questions. No sign up needed.

All new Teen Night Activities!  Enjoy a hypnotist and DJ on the Main Stage, in addition to food eating contest, climbing wall, trivia contests and scavenger unts...all are FREE and designed with teens in mind!  Prizes will be distributed throughout the night.  Please note:  Limited activities will be hosted at UMR if the full event is canceled due to rain. Words Players Theatre presents its third annual Shakespeare in the Park event as part of Rochesterfest. This year's production is the comedy As You Like It. Nine shows will be performed outdoors in area parks. Gypsy wagons, minstrels, merry men: All will make for an event to be enjoyed by all ages. Rochesterfest is a citywide celebration of Rochester. June 15 - June 24, 2012. Several local businesses and organizations make the community event possible by sponsoring countless activities that offer entertainment and fun.

Games are at The Rochester Athletic Club (NW Building) on Monday afternoons.  (This is now a SANCTIONED game).  Game time is 12:15 - to 4 pm. Please arrive by NOON.  0-999 (pair average).  The cost is $4.00 per game (24 hands).  Duplicate Bridge is a more advanced level of bridge. New players should call for more information.

4 Mondays, June 4-25. Rhythmic & smooth and easy to learn NC 2 Step is great for weddings and is often danced to songs like: Red Red Wine, Home, and Stand by Me. To look good on any dance floor, learn to Night Club.

Dan Petrov works in the medium abandoned by fellow artist Richard Dison, but their oil and watercolor paintings are the perfect complement to each other on the walls at Crossings during the month of June. Hey kids! Join a naturalist at the beach for a fun, hands-on nature activity. Different activities will be offered each weekday, Memorial Day – Labor Day. From frogs, to dragonflies and rocks, birds and arts and crafts; you’ll learn about nature at Whitewater State Park. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
