Pearl of the Lake Riverboat Cruise

We begin boarding at 12:30pm and seating is first come first served. Tours are 90 minutes long; there is a narration and we cruise on Lake Pepin the largest River Lake on the Mississippi. We have a full bar and snacks available on every cruise. The lower level is enclosed, and air conditioned the upper level is open air, with a canopy. Restrooms are available.

Steve Troutman Rapa Nui (Easter Island, Isla de Pascua) is known for its enigmatic Moai statues, elongated stone heads, standing up to 33 feet tall. Located in the Southeastern Pacific, Rapa Nui is one of the most remote islands on earth, with a fascinating ecology and a rich, but tragic, history. Inspired by Miguel de Cervantes 17th century masterpiece, Don Quixote, this is a musical adaptation of Wasserman's 1959 teleplay, I, Don Quixote. The tale of the "mad" knight, Don Quixote, is told as a play within a play performed by Cervantes and his fellow prisoners as he awaits his hearing with the Spanish Inquisition.

Foxfeather Ženková and Jane Marie Lewis Exhibit

Two artists exhibiting work at Crossings through the month of May, both native Minnesotans, are inspired by the flora and fauna of the natural world. Foxfeather Ženková describes herself as “a bird nut,” while Jane Marie Lewis has always enjoyed the outdoors and beauty of the Mississippi River Valley. Their paintings (and Ženková’s mixed media pieces) are on display April 29-May 31. A reception is Sat., May 11, from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
