Opened in 1928, an iconic symbol of Mayo Clinic, designated as a National Historic Landmark. It is named for Henry S. Plummer, M.D., the 'diversified genius' who designed it and who created many of the systems and procedures still in use at Mayo Clinic today. Tour the historical 3rd floor suite and see artifacts from Dr. Will and Charlie Mayo, view the marble lobby and Bas relief caricatures. PLEASE NOTE: All tours at Mayo Clinic are restricted to patients and their guests the day they are on campus for medical appointments.
