Cascade Meadow Wetlands & Environmental Science Center

A nature preserve with an interactive science museum featuring hands-on exhibits about wetlands, water, and energy. Follow 3 trails in and around the environmental science center and learn about alternative energy, storm water management, green design, and construction. 90 acres of natural areas, featuring restored and created diverse habitats that are home to a variety of plants, birds, and other wildlife. This living library of 9 wetland and 3 prairie communities celebrates Minnesota’s native landscapes. Free admission.

Description: Cascade Meadow has space available for meetings, presentations, workshops, and exhibitions consistent with our mission to be a regional resource for environmental education and to support a conversation about sustainability. We are not available for receptions, banquets, or fundraisers. To reserve space, go to the “Building Rental” page under “Visit” on www.cascademeadow.org and complete the building rental form. Catering arrangements may be made through our approved caterers: the Canadian Honker or the Club Café & Deli at the Rochester Athletic Club.
