Rochester Honkers

Hit the Ballpark for Summer Fun

Baseball fans have a big reason to cheer in Rochester, where a team of skilled college players from all over the country band together to form the Rochester Honkers every summer.

A member of the Northwoods League, the Rochester Honkers have been hosting 26 top collegiate baseball players every summer since 1994. The season runs June through August and usually includes around 70 games in 75 days.

The Honkers have done it the winning way--by bringing in talented and likable players, working hard on and off the field, serving the community, and earning several league championships. "We bring consistent sports entertainment to Rochester, along with a venue for kids to see the stars of tomorrow shine today," says Dan Litzinger, owner. "Plus, with over 45,000 fans coming through the turnstiles of Mayo Field in the summer, we bring excitement and people to the downtown area."

Mayo Field features box seats, a sports deck, and 10-person suites. You're guaranteed to have fun at the 'ol ball game in Rochester. Plan your night at the ballpark here!
