ROCHESTER CONVENTION & VISITORS BUREAU BRAD JONES, EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR BIOGRAPHY
Brad Jones is the executive director of the Rochester Convention & Visitors Bureau. Brad has a rich 15-year history as a CEO for convention & visitors bureaus.
Brad was born and raised in Michigan and received his formal schooling at Ferris State University. He holds a bachelors degree in hospitality management with a minor in marketing and an associates degree in food service management/culinary arts.
Brad was a pioneer in the early adoption of destination marketing on the World Wide Web and has developed many unique packaging, destination marketing and convention sales strategies.
Brad is an Eagle Scout and still enjoys being involved in the local Boy Scouts program as an assistant cubmaster. Brad is also a former hockey player and hockey official and spent 17 years as an amateur ice hockey official. Brad currently coaches his son's hockey team.
Brad serves on many business, civic and organizational boards and foundations both locally and nationally. Currently, he is chairman of the Minnesota Association of Convention & Visitors Bureaus.
