University Center Rochester
The University Center Rochester is located only two miles from downtown and features teleconference and interactive TV services, as well as classrooms that can accommodate from 20-200 people. Its beautiful campus setting is great for educational seminars and retreats.
Rochester Art Center
The Rochester Art Center is the jewel of the downtown Rochester cultural campus, set aside the beautiful Zumbro River and featuring gorgeous architecture. This breathtaking building, with its ever-changing exhibits, is often home to treasured social gatherings and convention galas.
Historic home of the Mayo family, this five-story stone mansion features function space for meetings, luncheons, dinners and receptions in the dining room, library, gallery, outdoor terraces and tea house.
Plummer house of the Arts
This Tudor-style mansion sits on 11 acres of beautifully landscaped grounds, consisting of formal gardens, bird trail, quarry and water tower. The house is over 300 feet long, hosts 100 people, and can be used for a variety of formal, semi-formal and casual gatherings.
Olmsted County Fairgrounds
A variety of venues can be found on the 50-acre Olmsted County Fairgrounds, including the Graham Arenas, which were renovated in November 2007 and double as indoor ice arenas and exhibition buildings. Grandstand and track areas are used for horse and car shows, tractor pulls and live entertainment. The 4-H Building features an on-site kitchen and convenient parking. Located close to downtown Rochester, the fairground is a unique, comprehensive facility.
Rochester International Event Center
This 26,000-square-foot event center is a state-of-the-art facility conveniently located next to the Rochester International Airport. Beautiful ballrooms, a large pre-function area and the latest technology make the Rochester International Event Center an ideal meeting spot for groups of up to 850 people.
Located in the heart of downtown between two major hotels and adjacent to the Mayo Clinic, the Peace Plaza is available for rental year-round. The outdoor event space is scalable to the size of your event and holds up to 2,000 people.
University of Minnesota at Rochester
University of Minnesota's newest campus was added to downtown Rochester in 2006. With its convenient location, UMR provides four meeting rooms seating a range of 25-100 people, equipped with computer, projector, DVD player and microphones.
Assisi Heights Spirituality Center
The three-story Italian Romanesque Assisi Heights, built to resemble the Basilica of St. Francis of Assisi in Italy, is home to the Sisters of St. Francis and sits on top of a hill on 100 acres overlooking Rochester. The 1870s convent has a red tile roof, slate floors, Romanesque ceiling and hand-blown stained glass windows from Germany. The Spirituality Center offers 7,000 square feet of space surrounded by two libraries, perfect for retreats, educational seminars and recognition events. It can host small ten-person meetings to larger 220-person banquets and has on-site catering and audio/visual services.
